tomservo The faq pages have a lot of good info about what tasks are. Think of them as little jobs to earn money instead of discussions and such.

Activity sortie woes

sedel1027 @sedel1027 (17846) • Cupertino, California 18 Mar 08

Ergh. I don’t like the activity sortie to begin with and now I notice this: the darn thing doesn’t fit properly on the home screen! Half of the text in the box runs under the other sorties. It is like the columns are not set...

activity sortie

too big

2 responses

tomservo It looks like in one of the items in the activity sortie had a url in it. The url didn't word wrap, so it was causing the box inside the sortie to stay a certain size. Might want to let Crash or a Mylot Admin know of this bug.

Microsoft's announcment for Indie devs to post XNA Games with Peer review.

alphatrak @alphatrak (23) • United States 11 Mar 08

I'm pretty excited about this announcment. A friend and I are working on a game engine for a simple and short 2D RPG. What do you think about this announcment and are you working on an XNA game?

3 responses

tomservo I think this is exciting news. I have grown to love XNA in it's simplicity. I can't wait to see if I can get my game up on xboxlive.

Are There Ads After Each and Every Post?

aidenofthetower @aidenofthetower (1814) • United States 21 Feb 08

Okay...so first I notice all the changes on the home page and on my profile. Now am I really seeing ads between each and every post? I know that myLot has to make money. I know that they have ads all over the place. But are they...

tomservo I've noticed them after each response, but I've seen worse sites plaster more ads that what myLot has, and they are all text ads so they aren't as intrusive as a bunch of image/flash/animated ads. I think the more money they make from advertising, the more we...

devilsangel @devilsangel (1817) • United States 20 Feb 08

Ok I don't know where they get the idea that this crap is actually helping but its not. I wish they would actually listen to users and do updates that are actually asked for instead of messing up other stuff. Now we have these...

tomservo I have a question about this spyware you speak of? Is your "software" finding cookies every time you scan, and flagging them as "tracking" or the such? If so, that isn't spyware. just fyi. http://www.xblock.com/articles/article_show.php?id=64

Naruto Shippuden gets hotter!

GourdBreaker @GourdBreaker (488) • Philippines 24 Mar 07

tomservo *shudder* Why watch them on youtube, it is crappy quality... you should probably look at getting the fansub avi. It is tv quality, unlike youtube... they shrink it, and probably downsample the audio to a lower quality rate. But other than that, ya I am...

tomservo Good list so far, but I can see #1 not happening at all, and here is why I see it that way. What if a person writes a big and good discussion, gets paid for it, then in a sense edit's it, to just a word. He/she already got paid. The they can just redo the...

tomservo I see your number, and I see mine on my posts. I don't really care if they show it or not on my left bar. I know where abouts my number at pretty much all times. =) If I forget, I just look at a post I made.
