Best way to learn PHP?

FallenSage @FallenSage (43) • United States 19 Aug 07

Some say e-books or online tutorials. But you see many people who say they learned just by looking at the code of scripts such as phpbb and just looked at what each thing did. So how did you learn or are learning?

veepee I simply jumped on a small project after learning some of the absolute basics. Try to become friends with somebody who knows PHP, so he can help you.

veepee It's decent. Ignore the moronic critics, they just want to get respect for flaming everything that's been hyped for the last year.

Fans of old PS1 games!?

Ynefz0r @Ynefz0r (832) • Finland 24 Oct 06

I really like these old Playstation games, really great to play them. Gives you a good, warm nostalgia like feeling... I totally love Final Fantasy VIII, Star Ocean 2 and Tales of Destiny II... They are all RPG's and good ones...

I saw the first 17 minutes, they were AWESOME!

shomomo @shomomo (850) • Israel 7 Sep 07

First of all I love the idea to remind people that the first episode is at the 17th. The idea of the prison life in sona makes the viewer think it's unnecessary because Michael is going to get out of there in one day. But then...

So many shows today are terribly violent. That is one of the best things about Mr. Monk. He is clever, cute and funny, but does not have to use violence or bad language to keep you interested.

veepee I like "Monk" for it's mysteries (although quality as degraded nowadays) and different kind of humour. I agree with ya.
