A few months ago, my fiancé told me something he heard on the radio, which was one of the funniest things I’d ever heard too! Please feel free to share your thoughts. A little boy about three or four years old was at his grandma’s house. Somehow he got a hold of her car keys. Her car was parked in the driveway, so he got in and started the engine without anyone noticing. The little boy ended up...

Thank you so much for best response! I'm honored that you've chosen my response as the best one for this discussion. In case you're bored today, I thought of another site you might like...Mary Kay just brought out this virtual makeover portion of their site. It's pretty neat, so I thought you might find it fun. http://www.marykay.com/whatsnew/virtualmakeover/default.aspx Let me know what ...

How fun! Wow, there's so much to learn and so much fun to be had when a whole family can sit down together to play a wholesome game of whatever is decided upon for the night. I can think back to those times with my family, and those are certainly fond memories when I remember how much laughing there was over a game of Uno. There was this one time when the power when out at my parents' house for...

I'm glad you'd be able to handle the situation by voicing your opinion as well as the terms in your house. You're definitely entitled to run your house how you want and invite whomever you choose. If they don't meet your requirements, they can stay out of your house. (LOL) Seriously, though. They should've been more considerate. If the niece acts like that at a family member's house, she'd prob...

LOL! Thanks for your response, Hatley. Wow, I'm glad you were able to share your opinion with your visitor before she allowed her kids to ruin your house! I wouldn't have been very happy either. It's like, if she would just discipline her children to behave while they're at someone else's house, she wouldn't be completely embarassed by their actions. She's probably upset with you, but she shoul...

Hi, Fox. You don't have to apologize for disagreeing with me. Now that you put it that way, you're exactly right. How could two hours or more slide by as an accident? Especially with both a husband and wife at home. Two people being there at home makes a much better chance of at least one person remembering...but they didn't. What an awful thing to happen. Who knows what the parents were doing ...

I've wondered the same...if they were in their right mind either. It's like they were on a drive to get something done as soon as they got home that they both had one-track minds and not thinking of anything else. They risked (and took) the life of their poor baby for their stupidity. It's so sad that people let this happen. The life of a child is priceless. I'm sure in the future they'll wonde...

Very well put, Polly! I really enjoyed reading your response. (LOL) I don't believe the statement either. They also say you reap what you sow, you reap later than you sow, and you always reap more than you sow. So...in this case, if a person takes advantage of other people to get on time it's sure going to come back to bite them! Thanks so much for responding. It's always great to read what you...

I'm glad it was a bird bath rather than a power box. (LOL) To think kids can do things like this at that age! Of course, with all the driving simulated video games, I wouldn't be surprised if kids tried to drive as soon as they could walk! Thanks for sharing a similar experience. I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time, but now it definitely gives us a good laugh! Take care.

Yes, that's the most important thing...that the little boy didn't get hurt or hurt anyone else. It was just a harmless (and hilarious) mistake. It probably didn't seem like a mistake on his part, though! He was determined to get breakfast. I'm convinced this little boy probably watched a little too much TV! (LOL)

How rude!

A coworker of mine came into my office this past Friday, and we got onto the subject of the weekend. I asked her what she’d be doing during that time, assuming that she’d probably be lying out in her...

Negligence leads to death

I heard in the news a week ago that here in Michigan not too far from where I live, a husband and wife got home one afternoon and accidentally left their little newborn baby in the car. (I don’t know...

Does the end really justify the means?

Do you believe the statement, “The end justifies the means”? Why or why not? As a brief explanation, the quote basically means that no matter how a person accomplishes something, the end result is...
