MysticTomatoes responded to a discussion called what is your stance on abortion in life.
I don't care. It's not my life. It's theirs. I'm not going to tell you how to live your life, so don't tell me how to live mine. Could I ever have one? No, probably not. But I'm not going to tell someone else not to because I couldn't abort my own child.

The silent scream thing is a hoax. My husband's professor in nursing school showed that video to the class and then the class dissected it. It's fake. But I digress. If you want abortions to stop or to become less frequent, then all the education, scary photos and the threats aren't going to help. Science needs to come up with a birth control that is 100% effective. My husband is a tubal...

I pick up just because. I also have a daughter and whatever she finds, she puts in her mouth and I don't need her picking up something she shouldn't be eating. Plus our two cats love to bat anything around and once, it took me a week to find my keys. Thank God I had a spare set! The cats had batted them into an air vent upstairs in our room. I can't stand a messy house. I like to have thing...

MysticTomatoes responded to a discussion called Shouting at children makes them stubborn in parenting.

Treated like God? I'm sorry, but I am not about to worship my child and bring tithes to her like I do in church every chance I go. Kids are stubborn just like adults are stubborn: Because they can be. Worshipping your child or treating htem lke a god is not the way to raise healthy children.

I spend what little bit of free time I have in between here and CashCrate. I make a bit more money at CashCrate and I like their check option so I don't lose part of my money to fees that PayPal charges.

That is just scary. Absolutely terrifying to think that people are allowing our school aged children to worship this man like he's the next Christ.

I don't think they wanted to lose, but I do think that the American public was so sick of a republican in the White House that the Dems could have nominated Sadam Housein and he would have been elected just because he was a democrat.

Birth control fails. You know that, right? My mother in law had a tubal ligation done 10 years before my husband was born. He was then born and a year and a half later, my sister in law was born. Even tubals fail as evident by the fact my husband and his sister are living and breathing as we speak.

I don't know about you, but my uninsured neighbor pays $67 a month for generic Ortho Tri Cyclen. Lucky you to know someone who can get it for $30.

MysticTomatoes received a best response in the discussion New Cell Phone by sk66rc.

If it were me, I'd keep the BlackBerry. The computer is going to be a pain to carry around. I have a laptop that I keep in my car for work and I've also got a BlackBerry that is my personal phone and another phone for my work phone. I'd much rather carry the BB around than carry the laptop around. The laptop is so bulky and when I do have to bring it, I have to dig out the carrying case and use...

Child's science project involves microwaving worms

I was reading a Failblog.org post not too terribly long ago. In it, there was a photo that showed a child's science project that involved microwaving worms in the microwave. Sick! It actually showed...

Oh no! I lost my keys!

I don't know what I was thinking yesterday. I left work, stopped by the gym and ran on the treadmill a bit then picked up my DD from the babysitter's. On the way home, my husband calls from work to...
