I agree with most of what you said here, except for the "churches are tax exempt because of separation of church and state." Churches and charities are exempt for the same reason... the good they do. If it was simply a matter of church and state then churches wouldn't have to pay taxes on non ecumenical properties. I think it would be discrimination just to arbitrarily take tax exempt statu...

The only way to force change is for the 3rd parties to get more people supporting them. It really doesn't take very many people moving from the big 2 to get their attention.

The hilarious and ironic part is, this is exactly what happened for a little known governor of Arkansas. He came out of nowhere to beat an sure thing incumbent. I guess Billy Boy just hates his own strategy being used against him.

There is a reason the "civil rights" groups work to prevent English from being the official language in the US. In order to become a self sufficient, successful person in the US you have to speak English. Self sufficient and successful people don't need the "civil rights" groups. Anything that reduces a person's need on the "civil rights" leaders takes money out of their pockets. Bigots ...

I might be wrong, but it sounds more like SPC Hall's beef is with his fellow soldiers, not with the military. They seem to have taken great care to see that his right to be an atheist is protected and he is protected from bigots he happened to be serving with. Personally, in my career I never saw anything of this level, but I did hear and see troops mistreat others because of their beliefs....

What a contradictory fool. First he says that immigrants in America shouldn't have to learn English, then he says that he's embarrassed because people in other countries speak English. So I guess, in Obamaworld, Americans need to learn other languages, but immigrants don't... but then again, people in other countries already speak English...
