PhillyDreamer started a new discussion called What is up with all the garbage in the movie theaters this year? in movies.
Normally this time of year, I would have went to the movies at least 10 times to see one movie or another. Aside from about three films I wanted to see, the movie theaters seem to be playing a bunch of garbage. How is Hollywood selecting their movies now. I'm thinking I can write a better screen play than half the garbage that has reached the big screen. Look at some of the titles that have com...

Yes. That story was a bit misleading, but the mother did find out, and she seems pretty angry at the baby sitter.

Now that I know the actual facts, the babysitter should see some jail time. She lied to the mother, and endangered another person's child. The guy that put the boy in the washer was not even an aquaintance of the mother. The babysitter just sat and watched this guy do it.

Yeah the media really jumped the gun on this one. Fortunately for them the mother seems blinded by the fact that the babysitter put the child in danger.

Try getting a full body pillow, and using it to support your back as you sleep on your side. That allows the weight of your stomach to not sit right on top of you which restricts your breathing. I've also seen a special water that is supposed to help you sleep. You could ask your doctor is this is safe for you to drink.

It's turns my stomach, and the worst part of it is, that when somebody says something about it. They are portrayed as evil people who are trying to corrupt the system. The system is already corrupted, and I for one am tired of pretending things are just fine and dandy. GRRRRRRRRRR!

Yes but it's that pursuit of money which ultimately puts the control of your future in other peoples hands. A CEO pays his employee $30,000 per year which to the employee seems like a lot of money, but the same CEO is also the one driving up the prices making things less affordable so that $30,000 will never be enough and the CEO keeps dangling the carrot in front of the employee so he keeps on...

You just gave me idea for a poem. I like that weapons of mass distraction. As long as people are distracted from their problems they will never ask the true questions. It kind of feels like the matrix, but instead of machines its the fat cats on Wall St.

I wouldn't say my standards are up. I quite enjoyed movies like the Expendables LOL. I think part of it is Hollywood has grown addicted to big name actors and CGI effects. Why pay Rhianna a fortune to do a movie when she couldn't convince me she was cold in the Arctic circle. I'm also tired of ll these movies trying to look like Transformers and Avatar. Invest in some original plots, hire real ...

It's not that I don't appreciate special FX, but is there really a need for three or more movies to come out that look like the same movie. When I say the trailer for Battleship I thought it was another sequel for Transformers. Also special effects alone does not make a good movie. George Lucas used a sneaker to look like a space ship flying through space, but because he had a great storyline p...

I'm living in a world where everyone has their head down trying to look for every penny that has fallen on the ground. I've seen parents that have chosen to leave their children so they could work...
