I have found myself addicted to Yahoo mail even as Gmail offers some wonderful additional features that you can't resist. I'm sure one of my reason is the ease of usage, I get to be able to access my Yahoo easily while Gmail...

ToonBoon I have Gmail myself, I prefer it above all others, it is fast, has good spamfilters, and last but not least: all my friends use gmail. So Gtalk is a nice way to have some chat with my friends every now and then.
