Zap Definitely it has. Infact your post reminded me of my best friend in school. But I think after a point of time we become mature and identify our friends who we think are nice and may be best and then they remain with us.

sofs Time and distance does come in the way of close relationships.. I do have a great friend from the time we were in playschool. We can still pick up the phone and talk as if nothing has changed.
