Alternatives to pop (soda)

I am addicted to pop (soda) coca cola, pepsi etc. My father in law lost a lot of weight just by not drinking it as much. I want to do the same but I am finding it to be really hard to do. Does anyone have any other alternatives...

Rachel Johnston I like to drink tea, coffee, juice, flavored water, sparkling water is good too if you can stand the taste.
