Short term amnesia

I am 67 year old female and had an episode of amnesia last week which lasted about 6-8 hours. I had been ill with vomiting and my husband took me to hospital, but it is all a blank for me. I began to come out of it in the evening...

memory loss or amnesia

aoethier Thanks for the response. Does Transient Global Amnesia sound familiar to anyone? I think that's what I had.
