I believe you probably need to buy a PTC script. Then you need to publicize. However, before that, I think it will be good to register an LLC, Limited Liability company. Sounds easy, but it is extremely difficult, look at the number of PTC going off-line. It is not as viable as people think. As for the critical success factor, I do not know because I had not started one before. Cheers.

Hi there, first of all, I would like to thank you for your response. I agree with you that the competition in Squidoo is just too stiff. Just for a category in SEO marketing, there are more than 6000 or so lens. That is really difficult. Cheers.

Yes, I agree with you that putting up a lens is like hosting a blog. Keyword and quality content is very important. Well, I would believe that adequate promotion of your lens could really make your lens more successful in terms of traffic. But I am just wondering with its payment scheme, is it really worth it, even with a niche blog. Cheers and thank you for your insightful response.

Squidoo works like a blog, only that you are able to use Squidoo to publish pages in multiples of Lens. Each lens are actually pages with the http extension of your lens identity. Thank you for your response. Cheers.
