what's a love interest?

does a love interest mean the same as a lover? what exactly love interest mean? I failed to find a convincing meaning of this phrase anywhere else on the internet so I turn to my lot.

easterly and eastern, what's the difference?

easterly and eastern both means "in or towards the east". what's the difference between them, if there is any?

One plus one equals two. do you you think it is a grammatically correct sentence? It has two verbs. if not, what is the correct way to say it?

Come in native english speaker, I have something to ask

My car wouldn't start this morning.
My car couldn't start this morning.
I don't get what's the different in meaning for this two sentence. Do they mean the same thing? Do they both mean my car...

what does 'She will make me a good wife' mean?

does it mean 'she' will become a good wife for me or 'she' will make 'me' (someone else) become a good wife?
or both meanings are correct depending on the context?
