When choosing a president for the USA, how important to you is the candidate's religions affiliation?

clrumfelt started a new discussion called CT Scans in health.

I have been reading about CT scans and didn't realize before how much radiation exposure one gets with this particular test. Are they safe?

clrumfelt responded to a discussion called misquoting the bible in christian.

Anyone can use the verses of the Bible to justify virtually anything they want to do. Using verses out of context is a classic trick of deception for those who haven't committed to study the Bible for themselves to be able to know what it really means. Studying and knowing the Bible is a life-long pursuit, IMO.

clrumfelt responded to a discussion called The Democrats are using a new equation to calculate unemployment in politics.

But the lame-stream media needs talking points and the 11% figure, even though truer wouldn't fit in with their Obamanistic agenda. You have to look deeper at lots of sources to find the real truth about things. I think the true unemployment figures are probably much higher than 11%. The math just gets fuzzier and fuzzier as we head toward election time.

clrumfelt responded to a discussion called God does Change life and not the religion.. in christian.

When someone invites Christ into their life the Bible says that person becomes a new creature and old things are passed away. It's true, all sins are in the past and we have a new slate and a clean heart. God bless, my friend.

clrumfelt responded to a discussion called what if your love one invite you to join new religion will you join or not? in religion.
I wouldn't join a new religion because the religion I have now is the truth. I don't believe a new religion could pop up and have the truth. If it is a new religion it has to be based on a man or woman and what they think, which is not truth at all. Since we have the Word of God, why do we need to add to it what a human being thinks. It will be lies if they try to change what God has already sa...

clrumfelt responded to a discussion called Religion : the true intent.. in religion.

I could agree only partly with your assertion. For one thing, not all religions promote peace and harmony. Then, too, Jesus said that no man comes to the God the Father except through him so religion, then is much more than about harmony within society. It is also about one's eternal destiny.

clrumfelt responded to a discussion called What do you understand when you read this ? in religion.
I don't believe people can casually understand those verses. Jesus said we must become as little children to get into the Kingdom of Heaven. That is, we must be teachable to be willing to be taught to understand and accept those verses. The Word of God is spiritually discerned, and without a basic commitment to seek out the truth and believe it, it will be impossible to understand. The carnal m...

The USA is still great, but anyone who denies she has been on a slippery slope for the past 4 years is fooling themselves. The sooner Obama goes, the better IMO.

Kudos to Limbaugh for practicing what he preaches and saving an industry. tgd, if other talk shows had been competitive they would have have increased ratings too and survived alongside Limbaugh's program. That's the way business is, my friend.
