Friday night I went out with a guy I've had a crush on for 7 years. At the ripe old age of 61 (today!)this is a big thing for me! We had an awesome time and neither of us wanted it to end. We went for dinner at a place that also has a lounge with a country band which we both love and enjoyed right to the end of their performance. We did a lot of talking...or as much as you can do in this situat...

I have an overabundance of "stuff"! I sell on ebay and am always buying things that I intend to sell but don't seem to get the time to list lately. Not to mention the things that I just have laying around the house that I just don't use and all the things I have that were my Moms and I took home with me when she passed away in January.

I have to admit I use use my heart first but I always tell myself to start using my mind and think about it before I jump into anything. I'm just starting a new relationship and I'm trying to think rationally about it but am finding that hard to do. I would tell a younger person (since I'm 61 years old) to use their mind just about as much as they use their heart.

I always knew he was thoughtless and he has proven me soooo right. Since he's gone back to his own apartment after me taking care of him for months he hasn't called me once. I"m so happy I"m over him finally.

You have that right and since we have known each other for a long time and even had crushes on each other after a lot of talking we realize that we are very special to each other and are acting like a couple of "crazy kids" and loving every minute of it.

We definitely have a great thing going and it's been less than a week since our first date and it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. I've never been so comfortable on a first date in my life. I'm sure that's because we already knew each other so well. I have a good feeling that this is going to work out.

So far he hasn't pi@@ed me off yet but then we're in the "honeymoon" stage right? Everything is always perfect in the beginning.

I've had nothing but bad luck when it comes to men and I think my luck has finally changed ( how many times have I said that...lol) but I have a good feeling that I have done it right for a change.

I've been married twice and had a couple of relationships but I really don't think I've ever been in love and had the feelings that I'm experiencing now. I'm beginning we have to really be "grown ups" before we really know what love is.
