 My daughter took Concerta, along with a pharmacy full of pills from the time she was 4 years old. Now, she's off of everything. It was a choice her and I made together. She deals with the issues that arise and most of her issues come from her autism and not her ADHD.
But, I know the feeling of finding something that works and makes like better for the one with the condition. |

 We had a huge Christmas party every year. Sometimes on Christmas Eve, sometimes on Christmas day. The Christmas tree itself would be a replacement by that time because my mom always got the first tree on Thanksgiving and it would be dried out by that time and need replacing.
It never failed that something I asked for became someone else's present. That used to tick me off to no end.

You're correct, annie, there are hypocrites on both sides. I find the idea of a democrat complaining about abortions in the republican party equally hypocritical to a pro-life republican who has an abortion for whatever reason. Everyone pretty much agrees (the fanatics the exception) that there are legitimate and reasonable reasons for abortion, although we may disagree even there. |

Sorry, but the experts are clueless. Every child is different. Some are ready sooner while others take much more time. This applies to toilet training and to stop giving bottles. Do either before the child is ready and you have consequences.
Your doing the right thing by letting her experience the potty but not pushing the issue and she'll eventually get there. I can't take credit for my olde... |
