What does 'tall,dark, handsome' mean?

I mean I know what tall and handsome means. What is dark actually because a lot of girls say they want a 'tall, dark, handsome' guy. Can u guys lighten me up here. Thanks in advance:D

jackome1 No it's a term that surfaced through the African American culture. Tall referring to height, dark referring to skin tone and handsome referring to the way he carry himself
