Is politics waste of time?

Some people said politics is such a waste of time, after you voted for them, when they get what they want they forgotten you anymore, and some people said, they only using you for this... so what do you think of politics?

js4022a I think that politics is not a wast of time. I am a political science student and it has a lot to do with our everyday life.
