 I am very picky about my anime endings and am almost always disappointed. First, it must feel like a natural progression of the show. I hate those endings where they think the last episode has to be so freakin awesome that they end up writing it way different than the rest of the show. I think it's because you have to endure so much bad to get to the good with anime. I love it, but I see why others don't.
1. Story lines are often so convoluted that you have to be really dedicated to actually get them.
2. There's no safety in anime plot. You could very easily watch 50 episodes and be sure it will end well only to see everyone die and the world blow up...perfect, roll credi... |

One of the most disappointing animes I've ever seen was Death Note. In my mind it ended with the first season because[SPOILER] up until and including the death of L it was absolutely brilliant. The rest, especially the ending, was just aweful.
If we are talking about just bad in general and not ruining potential, I really can't stand the overly babyish anime. Rave Master comes to mind. Mayb... |
