It's more like a huge chat room with wacky-looking avatars where people have a ton of cybersex and sell ugly virtual items for fake money. So if you like Sims 2, you should definitely get Sims 3.

(or xbox live is hooked up.) if you have it hooked up you can challenge people online and test your skills against the world with all new weapons and perks. but if you just decide to play story mode of the game you will still get alot of suprises. (this is the most gruesome game ive ever played, well except for manhunt 2.)
