This certainly sounds likely, so long as the heads have simply been pulled from the ground and washed (they should have some root left). Most Romaine lettuce I buy (from Tesco) has been trimmed so that the growing stem/basal plate has been lost. I don't think that would work.

It depends a bit on the browser you are using. If you have a 'Favourites/Bookmarks' toolbar, create a folder named 'Discussions I want to Answer' (or something like that) which should show on the toolbar. You won't get paid in 6 hours! Your earnings for the previous 24 hours, midnight to midnight, MyLot time (see the bottom of the page) are posted at between 9am and 11am the day after. If you reach the minimum of $10 by the last day of any month, you are paid automatically about the middle of the following month, otherwise your earnings are carried over to the next month.
