| | | | Right now I am very concerned about how my family and I are going to survive with me not working. Having had fibromyalgia for 10 years, I have been unable to work and we are drowning in a pool of debt. Our children (16 and 13) can be so demanding. When I began exploring going to work part-time, my symptoms flared up. The stress is making me sick! |

I am in a situation right now where I feel overwhelmed. I spend a lot of time doing for my family members (two teenage daughters, husband). I get too exhausted and stressed to do anything for myself. I should be writing/editing but can't be bothered.
I was seeing a therapist who put together a woman's group. She gives us homework (asks a pertinent question we must write an answer to) and we ... |

I will probably have to get trophy cases soon. My daughters have brought home a ton of trophies. My 16yo daughter has a double closet. We took then sliding doors off of it because they weren't running smoothly. It opened the room up and made it a bit bigger. She uses the shelf of this closet to display her trophies. It is full. Now she is getting trophies that are too tall to fit on this shelf.... |
 | patgalca responded to a discussion called Do you think that your present partner is a perfect match for you? in relationships. 6 days ago
I can honestly say no. I don't think I really knew what I wanted in a partner... never really thought about it. What I know now is what I DON'T want in a partner. LOL! If I were single I would probably try one of those dating services so I could be matched with someone who has the same interests as me. But, I believe God brought me and my partner together for a reason. We had broken up, hadn't ... |
 | patgalca responded to a discussion called What's the last movie have you seen at the cinema? in watching movies. 5 days ago
I don't go to the cinema very often. The cost is outrageous and the big screen makes me dizzy, especially if there is something fast going on on the screen. I think the last movie I saw in the theatre was Mama Mia. My daughters and I went last summer when my husband was away. |

LOL! I'm not sure it has happened with the computer, but I am always heading somewhere in the house just to forget where I was going and what for. I don't know whether it's old age or fibro. It seems to be common among people of all ages though. |

Our Town, stupidly, put a median down the middle of our main street. Everyone is complaining because now there is no way for emergency vehicles to get by because there is parking on both sides of the road and two lanes for traffice (one in each direction). One of the things they put on this median is a fountain with a water wheel. It is only operating in the summer months but as soon as that su... |
 | patgalca responded to a discussion called Have you ever gone without a cell phone for a period of time? in cell phone. 3 days ago
I have not gone without my phone but my children have. My 13yo has had her phone taken away from her for one week as punishment. She seems to be doing okay without it, but I am having a hard time getting a hold of her when she is off with her friends. I don't know who got the harder punishment.[em]lol[/em] She'll survive.
My 16yo is on her way to Puerto Rico. We told her that she does not ne... |

I am very sorry for your loss of your dear friend Howie. I don't know where your religious preferences lie, but the only way you can look at it is that is was his time. Know that he is no longer in pain and is with the Lord. As hard as it may be for you and your friend, you will come out of this stronger, especially if you can find something positive to come out of this. When my brother died I ... |

That is so nice of you.
I have been going through a rough time lately with health, emotional and family issues. I felt that members of my writing group were pulling away from me. Recently my doctor altered my medication. When I went to writing group this week I was so foggy, my tongue felt numb, the change in meds was definitely affecting me. One person in the group hadn't been there for awh... |
