I like to knit most of all, but I like to embroider and do a little sewing, although I'm not the best at sewing. Needlepoint and cross stitch are great, too. I have so many projects in my head that I can't keep track of them all.

peavey responded to a discussion called To get an Adsense account. in blogger.com.

Yes, you must already have traffic to your blog. It does Adsense no good at all to display if no one sees it. There are guidelines posted on the Adsense site and you must follow all of them. Here is a link to the program policies, but you will have to follow the links and read more. https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=48182

peavey responded to a discussion called Do you use internet daily?? in internet.
I use the internet daily since I work on it, and even on the weekends, I tend to check in to work just to see how things are going. I listen to internet radio, watch videos, read news, find coupons, look up sales and on and on. I'd be lost without it. But I might get more housework done.:)

peavey responded to a discussion called How important are handmade gifts to you, for giving as well as receiving? in crafter.

I love getting hand made gifts and I love making them. They're always unique, even if made from a pattern because everyone does things a little differently. Most of the gifts I make are knitted because I enjoy knitting the most, but I've made other things, too. Everyone seems to enjoy them.

peavey commented in a discussion called Really Enjoy Composting For Fresh Top Soil in gardening.

Sheet compost means to put material down for composting in a sheet over a wide area of ground, like on the garden. I use it between plants during growing season. I also have a small area that I just chuck things into and dig in now and then. It's a builds soil a little slower, but it's less intensive labor wise.

peavey commented in a discussion called It's Snowing Outside, I Think My Gardening Is Over in gardening.

Here's a blog post that explains it. Cleaning it is the hardest part, but I made it harder than you have to. You don't have to trim off the small roots or double scrub it - it's a sort of dirty color naturally and you'll never scrub that off.:) http://patverettosfrugalliving.blogspot.com/2007/03/dandelion-coffee.html

Forgot to say that I grind them in a coffee grinder and then make the "coffee" in a coffee percolator, but you can just boil them in anything after they're ground up. Don't use a food processor because it will make them into powder which is really hard to filter out.

My daughter has that disease but it's mostly in her hands. I don't know if you can do much about it but try to stay comfortable. If your situation is a lack of circulation, just being active helps that. Walk, move around, anything you can do. As others have said, take ginger and hot pepper capsules. When you sit, put your feet up instead of on the floor. Try not to sit too long at one time.

What wild foods are in season where you are?

Here, it's mainly lambsquarter, wild salsify (leaves) and dandelion blossoms. It's getting late for dandelion leaves, but I picked some and cut the rib out to get rid of the bitter taste. A friend...

Dolphinptr

Does anyone use Dolphinptr? I've done it for a couple of years and he's always been really fast to pay when I cash out, but I cashed out a couple of weeks ago and haven't been paid yet. Has anyone...

eMachines

Are eMachines still good computers? My desktop (of over 5 years old) bit the dust and I need to replace it inexpensively. I saw eMachines at Walmart for $298, with XP loaded. They were small machines...

What have you done to downsize?

Downsizing means getting rid of excess things to me. I keep getting rid of things and the house is not as cluttered as it was. I'd like to have a smaller house, but the market for houses is bad here...
