I'm fairly certain that depends. Technically, the landlord should be the one to fix it in general. Other than that, if the tenant takes it on themselves to fix it then it depends on the landlord. I've always wanted to visit Scotland in particular. My great-grandfather migrated here from there and my grandfather has always wanted to go there, so I really wanted to be able to take him there.:) I thought it would be a really nice treat for him and it would make a great vacation.
