you know i am just 19 years old but i face a lot of stress. i was really upset and could'nt lead a normal life.So i thought of doin meditation and got great results....Is meditation so powerfull.....

You can become stresslessin few minuts but how you do meditation in more important! I think your prime goal is to become free from stress! You don't want to meditate for any spiritual purpose right now, right? So just do this things first: Sit in a comfortable position. take few deep breath sloewly with closing eyes and try to gether yourself! The just close both the nosal of your nose and count 1 to 6 in same rhytham. then open your right nosal and take breath slowly counting 1 to 6. again close both the nosal for counting 1 to 6. Now slowly release the inhailed breath counting 1 to 6 from left side nosal. close again both the nosal and count the same. And repeat this with other way round by opening left nosal and inhaling with same counting. When you will release the breath from your right nosal you will complete one circle of rhythamatic breathing which provides stress release! you can start with 5 times this breathing excercise with relaxing yourself easily. if need you can do this up to 10 times also. yes i do practice whatever you say atleast twice in a day.....and i hope your sayings will give my fruitifying results

Very interesting! I never heard of that meditation before.. and will have to try it.. I like to take regular times a day.. just moments here and there, and close my eyes.. take a deep breath, hold it, and breathe out slowly.. all while emptying my mind of thought (hubby says I do this one really well!) and holding my meditation image in my forehead, which is a radiant eight pointed star against the blue sky.. This keeps me "in touch".. and connected to peace.. But I don't do it nearly enough.. [I can feel the clutter!] Is there a word that represents the meditation image?.. like mantra represents a meditation sound or phrase used? Even by searching, I couldn't find a specific word used for the image.. :))

...for me, it is in finding the underlying peace of Life.. Ultimate reality is life.. which, in order to remain Living and aLive.. can only be excellent / perfect.. Therefore ultimate reality is utterly Perfect, minus any flaw whatsoever.. and the 'end' result of whatever this life is, can only be the very best possible 'end' result.. therefore.. all is well.. and all is always well.. peace..
