Painting by P.S.Krøyer - Painting by Danish artist P.S.Krøyer, of his wife and their dog on the beach in the summertime, painted in 1892
Since you offer option 5, I would choose to own a piece by Danish impressionist painter P.S. Krøyer, who was active in the late 18th and early 19th century. His work is about as much of a "household item" in Denmark (where I grew up) as perhaps an Andy Warhol or Winslow Homer is in the US. His particular claim to fame was capturing "summer moods" at the turn of the century. I've attached a photo of one of his better known paintings, a study of his wife and dog on the beach, painted in 1892.

I know exactly which peice I would like to own - "Primavera" by Botticelli. If not that, then either "Starry Night" or "Sunflowers" by Van Gogh. Last choice "The Scream by Munch.

If I could choose an artist to own an original piece by it would Salvador Dali. I love his work even now. I started painting and doing surreal art because of seeing Dali's work.

That's a hard one, since I love them all! I also am a fan of Dali, so I would have pick one of his works, most likely the "Psychedelic Toreador". I viewed that magnificent piece of work at the Dali Museum in St. Pete, Florida, and was amazed. Andy Warhol is another favorite of mine, so yes it would be a hard choice for me, lol.

I would choose 1) Picasso. It's my favourite painter. I adore whole of his painting, and other works of art. I also find his biography very interesting. I've read few books about his art and his life in general. His personality seems to be as interesting as his paintings.
