Yes, I think that you should get some time away to do something for yourself. It isn't good to get 'mommy burnout". Tell your partner that you need a break for a day and let him stay with them while you do a day out. Do whatever you enjoy doing! Better yet, get a sitter and have a date with him!! Enojoy!!

Oh yeah, we desevre days off, just like anyone eles. We do so much and nobody seems to understand that it is work, also. So don't think about wanting some time to yourself.

I absolutely think -no, I KNOW- that stay at home moms and work at home moms need a break from the house and the family sometimes. It's not that we don't love everybody and want to care for them, we just need a chance to rejuvenate once in a while! It's important and necessary and it makes us better moms. You have to take care of you too.

Definitely. I have been at home since August and I really don't get to get out or do anything but walk my daughter to and from school, walk my dog and clean, clean, clean. I want to get out and something so bad. I find I am getting more depressed.Yes we definitely need to get out.

Yes, definitely. A good break is to go out with your friends. Go shopping, do something stupid. Get someone to do the housework and looking after your children.
