Do you have to sleep with the air conditioner on...

or the fan... all year long? My oldest sister and my brother do. They freeze me out when I'm with them. I sleep with a fan during the summer and maybe some in the fall, but I do not like air conditioners. They get to cold.

Actually, I do sleep with the fan on, not the airconditioner. I sleep with it on all night, all year. If it is hot, I direct the air towards me. If it is cold, I direct the air away from me. I find the constant humming noise cuts out all disteacting outside noises, and sometimes inside noises. My husband isn't too fond of it.

Since I live in a tropical zone country, aircondition is really needed.. Now that it's summer here in our country, fan won't work alone!! It's DAmn HOT.. That's why the aircon's on when we sleep. I sleep ion my mom's room because it's the only room that's airconditioned. When papa's at home, I sleep in the study room because it's also airconditioned. I can't go with fan alone because of the dust, and I'm allergic when it's too hot or too cold.. Kind of complicated, yeah, but I can deal with it, anyway..^_^

not where I live in canada, I don't see how anyone could not heat in 40 below zero weather. Also I get very cold very easily.

In the summer I like to sleep with a fan but unless it's really hot I don't like to run the air conditioner. Usually the late evenings cool down enough where it's fairly comfortable with just the fan. I can't imagine sleeping with either during the winter months but average of $200 a month in the winter for heating I certainly don't want to do anything to 'cool things off'. It does get extremely cold in Michigan durning the winter though.

we seldom use our AC only on extreme hot weather like these days. during the day, we make use of fans to survive the heat. to save on our electricity bill, the whole family usually sleeps in our parent's room. we'd bring our own sleeping bag or blankets and sleep there.

All year round, i could sleep with just the fan on, but right now, it's so hot here, using the fan at night is not enough. I really have to use the AC at night so i can sleep.

I have to sleep with a fan on all year round. I can't sleep without it. Just a few days ago we lost power due to a snowstorm and I woke up the second the fan went off. I like it cool when I sleep plus I am used to the noise. In the summer, I like to have the AC on while I sleep. I may cover up with a blanket but I like the cool air. Luckily my boyfriend is the same way.

It is so funny you ask this question. I have to have a fan on at all times. My poor husband gets cold because I must have air blowing on me. I even have the fan on in the winter. Mind you, I lived in Nebraska where it gets extremely cold. I now live in Las Vegas so yeah I guess I need that fan and air conditioner.

Yes, I absolutely have to have at least the fan on all year long, even in the middle of winter. I need the fan on for air movement, or at least for the noise of the fan. In the real hot summer months I love to and have to have the air condition turned on. I love to sleep when it is real cool, therefore, I can bundle up with some large, fluffy comforter.

Not year long unless it is warm. I don't like to freeze out! But if it is warm you can bet my A/C is on!
