What would you do with your old mobile phone when you bought a new one?

Sell it? trade in? keep it for your collection? or maybe donate it?
For me i would like to donate it, on an organization that gives it to a woman in bad domestic situations or shelters. Even if your plan has expired, as long as the battery is okey, you can still use it to dial 911. There are also organizations that donating this on senior citizens, you can asked your local police to get help for donations and other infos. But just remember to erase all your info on the phone before you do that, that you don't want anybody else to have. By the way, it's tax deductible if you donate it so still it's not bad right?
So what would you do with your old mobile phone when you bought a new one?

I am fond of purchasing new mobile which i feel good in the market or any new launch.I have gifted my three mobile phones,one to my watchman and the other two to my freinds who were in need.I take care that all my phone memories,messages are delited.I had replaced new bateries fof the phone i have gifted.

If I get a new mobile phone, I just keep my old one just in case the new one should break anytime in the future. I tried selling my old phones on eBay before, but I soon realized that no one would buy it because its very outdated compared to the newer models that come out every couple of months. So what I do would my old phone is just keep it in my drawers and if I ever happen to need it, then I'll take it out. I think I have about 5 cell phones in my drawers right now. Most of them are the prepaid type.

i keep it for collection but if in time i will badly needed a money. i would probably sell it or if the time i have my new one and some relatives visit maybe i'll give it as a gift.

I think that donating your cellphone is a good choice. But, unfortunately it didn't occur to me before. And thats why i have been selling my old mobile phones whenever i switch to a new one. I am thinking of switching my mobile. And this time i am going to donate it.

I think I would keep it I find it very hard to let go old phones because they have so much memories and I just can't let it go. I do not think I would be able to donate it at all because I never like to hand down old stuff or whatever

I donate it a charity. I like the idea that someone else can use it for an emergency, plus I am always looking for tax write off.

i give it to my son,my first born the old cellphone and hes happy about. I dont want to sell it, i still got sentiments on little things that i owned.

I keepmy phone as a back up. Twice I have had a phone die on me and I could use my back up while mineis being repaired. It is a cheep insurance policy. When I get a couple I donate the rest.

Honestly speaking, I don't usually buy a new unit of mobile phone unless it is really necessary. I mean, if it's still working well I would not get another one. I have here with me three units of Nokia cellphone. I use them for my reloading business. One of them were damage so I decided to buy a new unit. I sell the damage one to my brother at five hundred pesos. We have agreed to such price provided that he would be the one to shoulder all of it's repair expenses.

I've changed phones a lot these past few years. Two of my phones were sadly stolen but whenever I try to buy a new one, I always sell my old phone so I wouldn't be spending too much on the new one. I already have two phones and next week, my service provider will be giving me another free phone for being a loyal subscriber, I don't know what I'm going to do with that. I'll probably just sell it to make a quick buck or I'll probably just give it to my boyfriend.

i think when i have a new mobile phone then i'll sell the old one, because i think i dont need it anymore, or maybe when the sell price is too low then i keep it in a museum of mine

I donate it to womens shelters, they give them to battered women for emeregency use.
