It is a great idea if you are willing to take the resulting pay cut. Europe has experimented with such ideas. Work 20 years and retire with a salary for life, work 4 days and get 3 days off, have more vacation time and look at the mess they are in. My concern is why look into some people and not others. They started looking into Rush when his housekeeper commented about the prescription drugs he had in his house. Both Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston had been taking prescription drugs and no one was looking into that until after their death.
