Do you like to spend future money or plan your saving?

Do you like to spend your future money or have a plan on saving? I used to have a boyfriend who liked to spend as much as he can once he got paid. He didn't have a habbit to organise his saving and spending. At the end of the every month, he had to borrow money from me or his friends. How do you think about this?

If he is having to borrow at the end of every month he really needs to learn how to live within his means. Don't take this the wrong way but if you keep letting him borrow from you all the time he will never change his ways.
We try to save it doesn't work out every month like we want but that is usually only on the months when something unforeseen happens.

Unfortunately, I have been somewhat of a spender, not always on myself, but I enjoy buying for my family and friends. I am not working on saving as I want to retire in the next few years and need to get things in order. It is not an easy thing to do, but is something that we all should work at harder.
