I would love to see Dein back, but the hush hush manner of his departure indicates that there is some bad blood brewing inside. I am not sure that everything is black and white in the Arsenal boardrooms as was the similar case with Patrick Viera leaving the club in a hush hush manner. Cheers! Ram

I think David Dein WILL return, Reason: I think he will sell his shares in Arsenal to Kronke which will give him enough shares to allow him to take over the club, as David Dein was the man that help Kronke buy a stake in Arsenal in the first place, i think when Kronke takes over the club he will bring David Dein back in.

I really hope David Dein comes back. He is an intelligent person. His relationship with Arsene Wenger was strong. And I think Wenger misses him badly. I'm sure he will be back.

I think he will return to Arsenal recently.David Dein is icon of arsenal and he was extremely important to Arsenal and no board would sack someone like that unless they absolutely had to.In my view is that Dein was probably too close to Kroenke and the board did not feel that they could plan and strategise about takeovers in the boardroom with someone who was close to the potential suitor listning.he will be back again and bring Kroenke come too.

It is unlikely that Dein will be back but I hope he does. He has done so much for the club from appointing wenger to being involved in all the signings. Dein may sell his shares to Kroenke or join him in a new bid for Arsenal. Also the board only control less than 50% of the shares so kroenke can buy enough shares from the smaller shareholders to make up the 30% he needs to mount a bid.
