But coming into the world cup, some of the Dutch players are in top form. Players like Van Persie, Robben, Van Der Vaart are all coming off good seasons for their clubs. So that is a good thing for the Dutch, but their unity is something different, especially looking at the fight that Van Persie recently had with goalkeeper Krul during the Arsenal vs. Newcastle match. Today, the news of Lampard's going out of the tournament has come. Also, I was looking at Gary Neville's press conference where he was urging the fans to have realistic hopes of England's chances. Yes, Roy Hodgson comes across as a second rung club manager. His performances with the top clubs has not been very encouraging. So having him as the England manager is a bit of a surprise for me when FA announced it. It was almost a resignation of accepting that England was no longer a top club. Cheers! Ram

I think their midfield is quite good with the likes of Ribery, Gourkuff, Nasri, Malouda and Ben Arfa. If only they could get a good goal getter it could result in good success. Cheers! Ram
