I watched this movie last night on DVD. It is about a number of fighters being invited to DOA, an invitational martial arts contest. Fighters are then pooled against one another in a knock-out style tournament, with the loser of a battle sent home, and the winner progressing to the subsequent round. The plot revolves around four female fighters who begin as rivals, but subsequently find themselves teaming up against another force. I like this movie because it portrayed strong girls who knows how to fight for whatever they want. The one in the picture is model turned actress Devon Aoki as Princess Kazumi a ninja princess determined to find what really happened to his brother Hayate afer he disapperead during the DOA tournament. What do you think of this movie?

I didn't see it, but the video games it's based on are pure cheesecake. Buxom girls, skimpy outfits, no plot to speak of. The director of the movie, Uwe Boll, is renowned for making horrible video game to movie adaptations. A lot of people didn't see DOA for that reason. As far as strong women go, Kill Bill, Terminator 1 and 2, and House of Flying Daggers all have strong female protagonists. You should check them out. Anime and Asian movies tend to like strong female leads too. More so than western films, as far as I can tell.

DOA: Dead or Alive - Princess Kasumi (Devon Aoki) kicking her opponent really hard.
I didn't know that the movie was based on a video game before I searched it on imdb.com. May I add the story really evolved on Princess Kasumi's pursuit to find her brother Hayate. You should try watching it, they didn't focus on the body and outfits, yes the women are sexy but they are great fighters too. I already watched the movies you mentioned and all of them are good too.
