this is the first commercial i've seen in awhile that might be useful.i could certainly use this for my five-if it didn't scare them, that is.. yes,folks..for the low low price of $325 dollars, your cat can have a toilet bowl of his/her own. now,if i could teach them to flush it,i'd be all set LOL. http://www.catgenie.com/ joking aside..it does look efficient.

Well I have to admit I'd love to have it. I hate cleaning the litter boxes. We have several cats so we have two boxes. However not for that price. No way can I justify that price for it. Now if it was under a $100 I might. That would save me a lot of money in litter and it would end up paying for itself but not at the price they are listing for it. That's a bit extreme.

Well we use the scoobable and we go through 70 pounds in a month. We buy 2 containers that are 35 pounds each. We have 10 cats right now most of which are male. I admit that the other would be nice but to put that much money out all at once is a bit rough.

Oh, that is hysterically funny...I popped over to the website and watched the demo---gee, and for only $329 bucks..isn't that more than most regular toilets for people??? I'm going to e-mails some of my pals who also have cats...they'll die laughing--there are also self-contained units that looked like part of the furniture...but it's a "secret" place to store the litter pan..and they're pricey too

Cat - A sleeping cat.
There are so many people starving here in the Philippines. I hope that the rich people here would not spend their money for the toilet bowl of their pets. That's a very big amount already for us here in the Philippines and of course the shipping charges would be very costly also. I love pets but not to the extent of spending for them so much. I'd rather give to people whom God love so much.

good point.that's a high expense for anyone, really. a lot of things here are charged for what they are, rather than what they're worth which is why they want so much.

I have seen these online. I want one but $325 is alot of money. My husband is a plumber so I wouldn't have to worry about getting it installed. I just have to worry about how to pay for it!

it's too bad they don't have a payment program..i bet they'd make way more sales on the product. i know a lot now who want one,but the price is ouch.

I guess I am the only one crazy enough to actually love this. I hate changing the litterbox. One of my cats is so picky that once the litterbox has been used a few times she absolutely refuses to use it again, so she will find whatever she can to potty on and has even been known to potty in the cat food. So I would actually love to have this thing. Besides I pay every 2 months to get litter, then I have to clean it, scoop it and all the other crap that goes along with it. If I can get out of that by spending the money upfront instead of every few months, I am all for that. Now if I was wealthy I would be buying this thing right now, but alas, I am not wealthy so i will have to save up wth money. I am not worried about my cats being scared of it, because there is a 90 day Guarantee so I could return it and get my money back, if my cats do end up being afraid of it. I watched the vidoes and setting it up is as easy as attaching a hose. Right now I just don't see anything bad about it. I am curious how much the sanitizing things and granuales cost because I know i would have to replace them once a year, but if it isn't way too high then I would gladly do it. I really love it, I really think my cats would love it. They would have a much cleaner littlerbox that is for sure. I guess I am just crazy, and I would be getting it for me not for the cats, although I am sure they would love it. It is much easier than trying to teach them to use my toilet. I just love it.

she's pooped in her food? wow..ok,that tops my female.she's picky like that too,but i don't recall her doing that.she'll head for my coat if she's angry LOL i wonder if this would be safer for pregnant women who own cats,as they're not supposed to change cat boxes..they wouldn't even have to touch it with this..

I have seen this cat toilet bowel before. I'm afriad it's a bit too late to be training my cats... age 4 and 7, I think they are beyond it! It may work with kittens, but heck, who is going to pay that price!

if i thought they really would use it,i'd consider it.it might pay off in the long run.i'm betting i'd only luck out at 2/5 trying it. my blue will use it if one of the others do.he always copies what they do.

It looks efficient, but what if it does scare them. Then you've wasted your money. I tried teaching my two cats how to use the toilet (my toilet). The kit included a hard clear plastic cover that fits over the bowl. The middle of the cover dropped down so you could put kitty litter and catnip in it to intice the cat into using it. After the cats get the hang of using the toilet, you can remove the plastic cover and they will then just use your toilet. My little one caught on to it, but my senior cat didn't want to learn. If your cats are young, it might work, but with five cats, you just might be s*** out of luck if you have to use the toilet yourself.

if i had the extra,i'd probably get it for them. it'd be worth it if they used it..i'd save a fortune on litter LOL i'm betting it would freak them out though..think that move of their own kind of startle them.

that is crazy! i've never heard of it before, thanks for sharing your find. they have kits at some pet stores where you can train your cat to use a toilet. i may look into that to see if it works.

you're welcome. i'd thought about it(the add-on toilet)..but as a previous poster said, the older ones would probably not go for it. i don't think my 17 yr olds could even get to the toilet without those steps.

Hello my friend! I must admit I laughed more on the reactions/responses for the cat toilet, then the toilet itself. (^^,LOL) I mean, I don't have a cat so I really don't know the difficulty of scooping, changing litter...etc But I imagined it well. (^^,LOL) So I think the "cat's toilet" is a good idea. Very genius ha. But if the cost of it is worth one month of groceries, as some have said. Yeah, it has to be really considered. But it looked good, if I have a cat and the money, maybe I'll think of buying it. I'm not yet sure. (^^,lOL) Thank you for this post. I love it really. Have a nice day! (^^,)

it has a screw on coupling like a garden hose- i think you could probably add it to a sink.. heh..i wish i could train mine to use the toilet. i'd save a fortune on litter :)

That's a lot of money I don't have :-) Knowing how contrary Moomin can be if we had that fitted she would take one look, turn up her nose, stalk away with her tail high in the air, and promptly poop on the kitchen floor in protest - LOL

Holy catlitter! That is crazy! It looks nicer than my toilet! Hey, if you order RIGHT NOW you will save $175 on shipping. That seems a bit stiff. You could ship the cat across the world fr less than that!
