What is your sign? What characteristics of your sign really describe you? How much importance do you place in astrology when meeting new romantic prospects or friends? What other Sun signs do you comply with? Which ones really repell you?! Is there really truth when you 'wish upon a star?'

My sign is virgo. My friends tells me that I dont act like virgo at all. Im not sure which signs are compatible with my virgo. I like astrology even though I really dont know anything about it. I just like looking at the stars at night.

Thanks 4 your response! Virgos are known for being detail oriented, intelligent, perfectionists, and like to take charge, but can sometimes seem critical by being so. They like to organize and then reorganize, keep on the go..They are great for management and heading up projects. They are rational, great thinkers but have difficulty with their emotional side. They devote themselves so much, they tend to over-worry and feel insecure in return. Virgo's most compatible sign: Capricorn..then Taurus, Scorpio and Cancer. Least compatible: Sagittarius

Cool, some fits me. I am detail oriented, and I do organize and then reorganize all the time. My husband dont like that about me. And yes, I do devote myself for few things and person and I do worry about it and them. I do feel insecure sometimes. I always had problems dealing with my emotion too.
Do you know if Aquarius is compatible with Virgo?

That was really cool of you to do her reading! I hope she lets us know if you were right on..My best friend did my reading and she was right on..right down to Isoaltion..I was amazed!!I just dont get how they actuallly get all this threw looking at stars and consolations,,,but im all about it!!

Yes! I realy do belive in astrology and I have got real poff in my life and certain things have gone the same way as predicted... so I am fond of it and I myself practice some basics of it...

I find Astrology very interesting as i see alot of truth (in the proof), but i don't base my life as a whole upon it because we are all unique individuals~
I do think there is alot more to it than many people believe, though..Thank you for your well informed response! :)

Actually, I have somewhat of a passion for astrology. To me it's like a sort of cosmic clock and/or map.. I am a taurus, but what I've learned is taurus is more the bull in the pasture, not a stomping bull (until angry that is) - I have mars in gemini and wouldn't you know it every project I do, I do two at once (the twins, ya know). The biggest 'astrological coincidence' is that (at age 18) when I traveled from New New Egland, USA to the Midwest, USA, a very slow moving planet from my 'first planetary pair/conjuction, had moved up (a quarter of the zodiac circle) and was exactly on the 26th degree of libra, where my second planetary pair/conjuction is. [My moon and Neptune are on the 26th degree opf libra, and Uranus had moved up from the 24th degree of cancer - three signs away. This 1st conjunction is Jupiter on the 23rd degree of cancer and Uranus on the 24th degree of cancer. Uranus is known as the astrology planet (among other things) and Jupiter enlarges anything it's paired with... When I had each one of my two children, there was something going on in my chart.. Your birthchart is the face of the clock. It's a snapshot of where the sun, moon, planets, and zodiac signs were when you were born. Over your lifetime the sun, moon and planets move around this clockface (your birth chart) and the sun, moon and planets, are the hands of the clock. I'm not into a lot of sensational 'fortune telling' tho.. but it's good for spiritual advice.. and every time you 'read' your chart you find something new.. But enough babbling. As you can see I'm pretty interested in it.. gonna do charts for money soon.. Wish upon a star? In a sense, yes!

As it may appear that i beleive it whole-heartedly, i agree with you..If it was 100% accurate, we would all be carbon copies of our sign's description, period.
We all vastly vary, even those born at the exact same second at the exact same 'spot' on Earth..But i do see more to it than simply for entertainment only...There are also rune stones, tea leaves, palm readings, and on and on~
A town not far from where i live, called 'Lily Dale', in NY State, there are psychic people who actually reside there as a population for most of the year and outsiders can stop by for a reading or even reserve one in advance~

I am a leo but they say leo are rude and snobbish but people often do not believe me when I say I am a leo.Only I think my hair do fall on my face like a mane,rest of the traits do not match.Infact people find me docile and humble and open to suggetions so they saymy acendant planet must be something else.I do not know what that exactly means.I think any wishyou ask from a pure self less heart you are granted that wish,It has happened with me twice.

Your Sun sign only makes up 10% of who you are, a strong 10% but your Moon sign and rising sign are also very important. One Aries for instance would not be the same as another, though they may share some basic characteristics with one another. I may be a Leo but don't consider myself as "confident", nor a leader.

Yes...The moon (the inside you), Mars (you at play) and Venus (you in love) all have their own readings, along with the influence of all the other planets. If you know your time of birth, along with your birthday, and have access to charts of where these heavenly bodies were at the time of your birth ~you will have a much more accurate reading and understanding of things that have no other explaination...The world bases us almost entirely on our Sun sign (general horoscopes, etc) But it is olny a fraction of 'who' we are, astrologically speaking..

Agreed..Your Sun sign is a generalization and we are all unique individuals..We all have a big hand in our fate, but not an entire one...Knowing where the Moon, Venus, and Mercury were at, at the time of your birth, helps to narrow it down even more...But no Astrological reading could EVER pinpoint any of us with full accuracy~
