My intact tom cat has spent every night out on the tiles for the last month. He spends his days stoned on cat nip and his nights doing god alone knows what. He is always on the door step in the morning but loves the night, do you think he has a life i know nothing about?

Sounds spoiled rotten to me ... my 35 pound tuxedo cat spends most of this day trying to lay on top of me and not let me get on my laptop, lately he seems to be so in love with me, following me around the house, crying for me in rooms and just wanting to be around me all the time, worse than a dog ;)

awwwww hes cute now cats i can relate to, although i've never eaten a whole one yet hahaha. I have a new kitten, Marley is his name hes not allowed to stay out all night yet I dont think hes old enough hes about 6 months old now. I think your right ppl say cats have two homes and mine is just getting to know the neighbours, yes he too roams the gardens when he gets the chance, at present hes fast asleep on the bed here waiting for me to join him, but alas he'll soon be grown enough to stay out all night too.

Oh yes, definitely a creature of the night. We had a manx tom, who used to come home every morning with the milkman. One day he turned up full of tar on his pads and in his fur, furiously trying to lick it off but throwing up all over the place. We called the vet and he said just put him in a bath of fairy liquid. Well, it took two us (adults) to hold him down in the water. Of course you have to roll your sleeves up. I have never experienced such strength in a little cat before. Both of us were soaked through and my arms were covered in blood - my blood! Moral - if he comes home dirty, let him stay that way. :-)

I'm also experiencing the strange behavior of my cat in the household. She will be at home most of the times for some days together. All of a sudden she vanishes ... when I would begin to think that she has deserted us, she would again come back . Strange ...isn't it ?
