I recently read of an armored truck being robbed of 1/2 million dollars of new and unmarked bills in 3 bags. The two robbers got away and tossed the loot into a pond to be picked up later. However as fate would have it their getaway car was hit broadside by a bus causing them to be caught. They confessed to the police where they had put the loot, Alas! by the time the police got to the pond someone had taken the money. The armored truck company offered a reward of 5 thousand dollars for the return of the bags and the money. If you were lucky enough to have found the 3 bags in the pond, Would you have kept the 1/2 million or, return the bags and collect the 5 thousand? Remember the serial numbers of the bills were not yet recoded, so the money would be untraceable.
