There's no one-to-one relationship between points and cents. Mylot pays for your total participation--posting discussions, replying, tagging, rating. If you have active referrals, they will also add to your income. Mylot varies the rates according to the number of members and the income. There's no way to predict just how much participation will get you to $20.00. Also, there's no point trying to figure out the formula because it's kept secret and it changes to keep people from gaming the system. Also, there's no point cheating because most cheaters are evntually reported and either have their discussions deleted, or or kicked off the site.

Hello & welcome to MyLot averageJoe23! The number of points required to reach $20 can vary from person to person. As you participate more, you'll start seeing how much you've earned each day but the quality of your discussions is what really counts. Most people will tell you to have a minimum of 3-4 lines per discussion but the more detailed you get, the better your earning should be. At the moment I have 993 discussion points and will be getting paid again in a few weeks. The total I have earned so far is $43.79 but it also includes photo uploads and referral earnings. Since everyone uses MyLot differently, the earnings will vary from person to person. Since you're new, I would like to direct your attention to the bottom of the page for some important links that helped me when I got started. Check out the information under terms, guidelines, FAQ and about MyLot. I hope they'll help you too. Best of Luck!
