I know it happened 2 years ago and many of Filipino people would have liked that tragedy to be burried 6 feet under. But i saw an old magazine of YES! and there was an issue about that tragedy and couldnt help but share my thoughts here. Most of the victims were old women and most of them where wousewives of poor family trying there luck in that gameshow. Now here is my question...what happened now to the case against the network and the organizers of that show?and especially the host Willie? As i can see him now in tv as if nothing that tragic happened and he is not showing remorse...i have nothing against the show or Willie..share your opinions please.

I guess the show survive and there was a foundation that was established that continues to help those legitimate victims from coping up with the loss. There were some who did not join the foundation and has pursued suing the show, the host and the network. But I guess they have chosen the longer and unsure path of legally suing big network.

Its a lesson to them, "They want money? There's no way such as free money". Gotta work hard if you want to earn it. Satan must be happy now!=]

yup.. i could still remember the horrors of it.. but the sad thing is almost all victims are poor, so they're not really equipped with money to sue ABS. Too bad! maybe its a lesson for all of filipinos that we must not just trust on easy-money scams..

I still remember them. I remember even the Pope express his grief over the incident. I think a lot of the victims just chose settlement than a legal battle, which they would most likely lose. It's unfortunate that the event just seemed to have faded out in the minds of the people. That's the problem with us, we tend to forget a lot of sad things. And eventually forgive those who had aggrieved us. Willie? I got to hand it over to this guy. He just seemed to withstand every scandal thrown in him. Kapal talaga ng mukha. From MTRCB banning to Network switching, wife-battering to mistress keeping, he just keeps on enduring.
