Do you have a system when answering Mylot discussions?

I was curious how Mylot members handle the disussions. With me,I go on for a certain amount of time .If I am caught up commenting on previous discussions I started,I will start new ones then I will alternate between answering friends' discussions and mine.then when it's getting clost to leave ,I will start answering discussions from other areas like hot topics, new, etc. How about you? How do you balance your time on mylot?

I usually start combing through discussions my friends have started first, you all keep me pretty busy just doing that! My time as of late has been limited here in mylot, so when I get the chance to sit down I am always playing catch up. Then I move on and answer what ever comments has been left on my own discussions, back to my friends I go, and when finally I have answered all that I care to with my friends list I move on to new discussions. I rarely answer top discussions or hot topics, as I hate to be the 120th person to answer, I just feel like after so many responses you get lost in the shuffle. What I enjoy the most here in mylot is the banter back and forth with my friends. I know not all discussions can go this way but often quite a few do.

Yep LMAO that would be me :))) hence why my Blue star is now yellow :))) heck for awhile there I was even a white 7 :))LMAO makes no difference. If I say its white surly someone is going to take offense and call it purple. I will be on tomorrow a good deal also....My friend who I help out in his computer shop is gearing up for a sale, so we have been working furiously trying to get some older systems refurbished. I am always around.. But it sure is nice to be missed :)))))

Working with Computers is always frustrating. There are times I feel like throwing the whole dang thing out the window and smashing monitors. Most of the time when one will not behave itself its a very simple solution, but tracking down that solution makes one want to pull her own hair out by the roots :)) I work in the shop on commission, I can take my grand babies with me and even have a play pen and play area set up. I work when I want to my own hours, most of the time its when there is work to be done in the shop like right now :)) I enjoy it for the most part as it keeps me busy since I no longer nurse. The babies come first but this was a simple way to add income to the household and still be able to provide care to the little ones that are my heart.

I always answer my messages, if I have any first....since I get my myLot information emailed to me....I answer them usually in the order that I receive them....of course, sometimes there is nothing that I can add and I just bypass that discussion....

I'm the same way,I will only answer a discussion if I have something to add but sometimes I don't and I will skip it.

I begin each day, with going through My Lot notifications. I delete tghe ones I am not responding to. Then I go to check respones I have received for my discussions & rate them. Next, I go through unresolved discussions & choose best responses. At the same time, I open anything from 5 to 10 discussions from friends, & begin responding. At any stage, if I can think of a discussion, I start it.

I just check in when I have some free time on my hands to see if there are any cool new discussions to take part in. I will read all the discussions started by my friends, and I will answer the ones that I feel i have something to add to. No set timelimit, no set number of discussions a day. I do whatever I feel like

Thats a very good system you've got going, I wish I could be that organized. I usually just look around in my interests, then I'll check my discussions, etc.

I try really hard to comment on all my friends articles but lately I have been sick and when I am online I have been at gather. I am making more cash there now than here. I no longer get points there since I am a writer for the US History group for gather. I am just trying to catch up a bit now but I really dont feel well enough to do much good commenting like everyone deserves. I try really hard to put my heart and soul into my discussions and my comments but not tonight. Sorry about th

I have no routine. Some days I will start up with a new discussion and then go to responses received for my earlier discussions. Some days I will start with responding to discussions opened by my friends and then go to my own discussions.Any how I will take up the following tasks daily. Opening new discussions, Responding my friends discussions, commenting and rating responds recieved for my discussions, look the top discussions of the day, look for discussions with no responses, watch new discussions to see if something can be contributed. Besides all these I will read a lot of others discussions and rate them. But these things have no order. Priorities are instentaniously decided. Thank you for the discussion.

I am happy if I get at least twenty replies down a day, plus whatever comments I make along the way. I always start with answering any people that have posted answers in one of my discussions. I mean I answer one of their own discussions, and then I might or might not answer with a comment, as well, depending on whether I have anything to add. Then I search the 'top[ics my friends have started'. I will run through a few pages of that, and may also check individual friends' profiles in case they started one that has been buried. By then I have usually met my quota and might take a peek at the hot topics and answer or not, depending on what takes my fancy.
