Is Grissom the "Miniature Killer"

Do you think that Grissom is the killer? I mean he was putting together a mini room at the end of last nights show right. And he has been acting a little weird lately (but that could be because of the forming relationship between him and Sarah). I don't really think that it is him although he is on the meticulous side so maybe. I think that they are just trying to build you up for the season finale. I mean they shocked me on Monday on CSI Miami when they fired Ryan. So what do you think? If you don't think he is the killer they why do you think he was putting together a mini room? Please I would love to hear all theories..and please have a wonderful Friday. mahmah

Adding to the suspicion that Grissom is the minature killer were the words playing as he is building the minature: "... a battle we will lose unless we stop killing one another and focus on the real enemies. They are among us." But then again, foreshadowing is never this obvious so he is more likely trying to figure out who the "one among us" is.

Also another good theory. Maybe it is Nick? Or even Capt. Brass? ;)

There's no way Grissom could be the killer- I don't think he has it in him to hurt someone. I think the only reason he was putting together the mini room is to understand it better. I remember back when there was the case of the guy who "fell" off the roof of the hotel (I think it was the episode where Sara first appeared) and Sara told him that there are other ways to figure out what happened-computer simulations... he said that he was a scientist, and he preferred to "see it" by reinacting it. I still think the killer is Sara though. Her mother killed her father, and if you remember back when she had a drinking problem and was suspended for going off on Willows and Ecklie, Grissom went to her place and she told him what happened with her parents, and was asking him if she would turn into a killer too since her mother was a killer. Grissom said that it's not heriditary... But, Sara seems to keep thinking about it- she goes over the edge on domestic violence cases, and I remember an episode after the team was split up- she was sitting at her computer alone and was doing a search on the "state vs. her mother" (cant remember her name). It's always there with her, and I think she feels that since her mother killed her father, that she will be a killer...

I remember the episode you are talking about. I believe it was Sara's first. They were throwing bodies off the roof in different ways to see how they would land. Your theory on Sara is entirely possible also. I guess we will have to wait for this weeks show to get more clues. ;)

No, I don't think Grissom is the killer. I think they just added that scene to make us all sit up and say "What the...?". That's what I did at least. :-) I'm sure it will be explained away later by saying it was some excercise in trying to figure out how the killer thinks or something. After all, Sara was in the next room, I hardly think he would be so brazen as to build the model while she was there if he was really the killer. Although she will probably be wierded out when she finds the model anyway. She's been acting pretty strange lately anyway about their relationship; she didn't even smile when she read the letter he had written, just looked a bit... well.. something. You know?

Oh I did too. That was my original impression, that he was doing it to better understand the killer and how he thought. She has been acting odd lately. I can't quite figure out what the look in her eyes was after she finished reading the letter. It almost looked like suspicion, or that some light bulb went off in her head and she wasn't quite sure that she liked it. I love the chemistry betweent the two of them. And I do hope that he isn't the killer. :)

Really, Grissom and Sara aren't real people.

I think he IS the miniature killer. Grissom and Sara are characters on a show, not real people. Billy Petersen is feeling tired and somewhat burned out, evidenced by his break to do live theater. Jorja Fox is reportedly again having contract issues. have Grissom kill Sara and you take care of both problems, Petersen may be asking to be let go and Jorja Fox is asking for more money. Bleach is apparently some trigger. Bleach kills little bugs and we know Grissom loves little bugs. :)

Actually I think Grissom is trying to get into the mind of the killer or profiling him by finding how and why he does what he does. A profiler, from what I see and hear, puts himself in the mind of the criminal. It's sort of like play acting. You go through the motions without actually killing someone. So Grissom is finding out that the killer planned his murders in advance, and probably wants to find out where the killer got his material so that when the killer drops in at Walmart or whereever, the police would be there waiting for him.

Gris is getting a little weird lately, yes. I've been noticing a lot ever since I realized that I've probably seen nearly all the eps, in order. From his migraines to his hearing loss, to his defeat at the hands of Paul Milaner, he's been getting more and more on edge. As per the coming attractions, it seems he's Benn hangin' with Lady Heather on the side, while bopping Sara. This would make a lot of sense to me, but I think it'll turn out to be totally innocent. Now as for building the miniature room - yes, he is absolutely getting into the mind of the killer, otherwise he wouldn't be building it in the room next to Sara. BUT! I think you might take a moment to examine Petersen's old role in "Manhunter", when his character got so into the mind of the killer that he lost himself and had to be hospitalized. I think it entirely possible the Gris could lose it. But then again, he's been rather amusing and humorous lately. Perhaps he's just playing a big joke on all of us. We'll see next week!:)

Good point they do get a little weird when they are falling in love. I don't know if anyone ever watched Angel when it was on, but the main character would revert back to evil vamp dude if he ever experienced true bliss, maybe the same concept here?? ;)

I don't know if he is the killer or not. I mean he was putting together a room, and has been acting weird lately. Besides, what was up with that letter he wrote to Sarah? I don't get why he had to write a letter to her. Anyways, I can't wait till next monday's show with Lady Heather again. Supposedly Gil was with her one night. He he he. I remember I think it was in season 1 or 2, where Gil was into Lady Heather, but he didn't act as weird with Lady Heather as he's acting with Sarah. I just don't get it.

He wrote the letter while he was "away on sabattical" but I guess he never mailed it. I wonder if he meant for her to find it like that?

Maybe the letter was meant to be found after he completed his final "act". It did sound an awful lot like an apology or good bye kind of letter. Who knows.

I'm not 100% sure, but I did see him putting together a miniature room last night and got really excited about it. I don't know if he's doing it because he's the miniature killer or if he's just doing it because he wants to get into the miniature killer's head.

I haven't been watching but he's probably putting together the mini room to reenact the killings, Grissom becoming a killer is like saying Catherine will go back to stripping

When I saw that scene I started yelling at my husband "What's Grissom doing building a minature?" That really got my attention. I can't really see him being the killer but it got my attention if that's what the producers were hoping for. I can't wait to see what happens next now.

I definitely don't think Grissom is the miniature killer. I'm with most others in thinking its all about getting into the head of the killer. I've heard some weird theories here and elsewhere on who the killer could be, so I'm gonna go where none have yet to go.......the killer will be : Doc Robbins.

I think they are trying to make him look like the killer to build up the season finale and he is recreating the mini room to actually get in the mind of the real killer and find some clue to helping him catch the killer. I don't think they are going to make him the killer he is the star of the show. And I haven't heard or seen anything saying he was leaving the show.

I haven't seen anything about him leaving the show either, but if we did know that was coming, that might ruin the possible "surprise" in the show.

I haven't seen this week's ep yet - TIVO recorded the long ER instead - urgh!! I don't think it's Grissom regardless. I heard a theory on an email list that it's actually... what's his name... the guy who headed the 'let's help Grissom solve the mystery' team and who found the bleach connection. That would be more interesting, I think. I just don't think it's Grissom. Carol

You must be talking about Hodges. And you know, that is also entirely possible. He doesn't appear to be quite right in the head. But then again, they all seem a little off, not that I can blame them, dealing with their stuff on a daily (or however tv show people tell time-lol) basis.

I think grissom was putting the miniture together to try to find out how long it takes to do it,he is analizing it's what he does best. Sarah has been acting quite weird lately so I'm still not sure about any of the CSI team. I mean Nick had a mental breakdown after what happened to him,it could be anyone. I can't wait til next week.

Not a chance. He doesn't have the mentality of a killer. He's just using the it. I am still trying to figure out what the tiny picture of the doll represents. Was it that it was one of the foster kids? Was that a real picture or a picture from a magazine?

I am not sure about the picture and I don't think that anyone really is. I guess we will just have to wait and see how this plays out, the thing that sucks is the fact that the season finale is just going to leave us all hanging a little longer. It may answer a couple of questions but I have a felling that it will raise three times as many more. lol :) I can't wait to post after the season finale. LOL :)
