The soul/ spirit would be in a state of deep sleep-- until a day when God would rise it up to face His judgement (the Great White Throne Judgement -- Revelation 2:11-15). After the 'judgement', it will be the afterlife or continuation of your life on earth.

Typo error... sorry for this. It was Revelation 20:11-15 actually. Thanks and God bless!

I won't say about myself myself (Do you know why?) cos I can't really decide not, but it will be seen on the last day. Those who die in Chris Jesus will be resurrected at the end and I hope I will be one of them. Thanks

I am not a religious person but I do consider myself spiritual, I have my own feeling on these things much that I believe none of us can really understand what happens to us because it is something that we just would not be able to understand and it is something we will just have to wait and see, but I can't help thinking that a part of us lingers around our loved ones and I firmly believe we are united with the people we loved and left us, I think it is a journey we have to look forward to.

Christianity says that the soul will reunite with God the creator. If I leave it purely with faith, then this explanation should be enough. But if you really think about it, will you still be the same person you are - only in soul form - when you die? Or will you be transformed into pure soul minus the intellect, volition, and personality that you possess? I sure would like to have an accurate answer - while I'm alive, that is.
