Hi! Your discussion is a good one. When I grew up as a teenager, I started working during holidays in order to raise fund and pay for my education till when I completed my secondary school and I had to go for break cos higher education is expensive compare to secondary level. I think you are right. It is incorrect for a child to call his/her parents by their names continuesly. Though I wont blame the girl cos she might have learnt it outside or through her parents and also, it really depends of the location.
