I Need PayPal Help!

OK, I have an account at PayPal that I started several years ago to receive payment from various online sites. I never bothered to verify it because I didn't use it to make payments or buy anything. Well, After a couple years, there is a nice bit of money in there and I'd like to get access to it.
Problem 1: I created the account using my user name instead of my real name so I can't link it to a bank account or credit card if they check the name on it.
Problem 2: I went to enter a credit card number and it says that it is already in their system (it is attached to another Paypal account).
Problem 3: I was going to just send the funds to the other account but I have a zero spend limit on the account I am asking about.
Can I go and buy one of those prepaid MasterCards or Visa cards and use that to verify my account? I started posting a lot ot AC and am getting some nice offers for articles but I don't want to have it going to the same PP account if there is now way to get to it.
Can I use an unverfied account to buy on ebay?
Can I use a checking or credit card in someone elses name to verify my PayPal account?
I'm really confused if you can't tell and the PayPal user agreement and FAQ gave me a headache.

I'm sorry but I don't think I'm going to be much use to you on this discussion, I've got a very much love / hate relationship going on with Paypal and their chinanigons anyway. I guess if you use a prepaid Mastercard or Visa then that might work as they go off the number on the card. You can use an unverified account on Ebay (well you can in the UK so I'm presuming it's the same for the USA) Hope u get it sorted out!

Delete your credit card from the other account so you can add it to this one. I faced that same problem when I switched email addresses and it worked out. :)

I do not understand why you would have a zero spend limit. My Paypal account is unverified, but I can spend money from it or transfer cash to my bank account.
The biggest problem is that Paypal tend to have different rules for each country, which makes it rather difficult for most members to advise you on the subject. My best suggestion would be to log in to Paypal and read through the rules and help files there.

I just ended a phone call with Paypal customer service, took a while to get through but when I finally got to a real person, he was very helpful. Try the "contact us" and "by phone" on the Paypal website and give them a call. Maybe you can delete the other account the card is linked to. You are only allowed to have one personal and one premier account I think.

hi....i read a discussion here a few days back on the same issue iam sorry i dont have the thread to it, anyway you can use an unverified account to buy things on e-bay b'cos thats what iam doing i only have a debit card and i didnot want to give my bank details so i use whatever i have on paypal to buy things on e-bay....
