The term hacking covers a wide variety of actions which vary from illegal to simply configuring personal equipment. The term has been used so long to refer to the act of gaining access to another's computer that many people often make the mistake of assumimg that it is the only form of hacking that exists.

I was always a great fan of Norton antivirus, but a few years ago the program started to seriously affect the speed of the computer. I now use Avast antivirus, which is a free program and provides me with adequate protection without aversely affecting my computer's performance. As for the person who suggested that you change the hard drive, I would recommend avoiding him in future.
