I like rain too, fresh air, the smell. I think raining can be a romantic moment to share with your partner especially when raining at the night. In my place we didn't get any rain since last week

This is the first rain we've had for almost a month. We've had fires all around us! I love the rain and am especially thankful for it tonight!

That's wonderful news....just what you really needed there...and yes, it would be great to breath some nice fresh air again instead of smoke....How are the kitties doing?

So far, so good. Two are in the house. The other one will probably come in soon, meowing to be dried off. He loves it when I rub him with a towel. Sometimes he will turn around, go back out and get wet again just to get another rub down!

That may happen! We just had the first named storm of the season and it isn't even June yet! Yesterday the smoke was really bad again. There was some talk of evacuation, but we got a little bit of rain which helped. Today the smoke isn't nearly as bad!

Just curious about an up-date..is it still raining on and off??? I remember you mentioned in one of your other posts that hurricane season is starting...now you'll be getting TOO much rain...no?

Well we had rain on and off here in Minnesota all day Saturday with up to 35 MPH winds. If we had smoke it would have been sent northward. Didn't get anything much done in my garden today. Transplanted a couple daylilies was all.
