Decline of Morals and Ethics

Today's world is fast-paced and seemingly improving the standards of living. But while everything else is rising, progressing, improving we can't help but notice that there's a great decline in morals and ethics. Why should we care? Well, it's what separates us from animals, don't you think? There was a time when dignity, honor and morality was given so high an importance that people willingly gave even their lives for it. Is that time long gone?

I would like to think that time is not long gone, but then when I truly take a look around me I realize it is in danger of extinction. I thin kin order for it to end we need to take a step back, reevaluate our lives and how we live and start making an effort to instill moral and ethical values in our children. We should car because for every person who is getting a better standard of living there is someone in the world who is suffering, either directly or indirectly, because of it.

Jace, just think. The world changes, so do the norms. The moral norms are not the same as they were 100 years ago. And then more-they are not the same as they were 20000 years ago. There are some main standarts. They are common. But all nations and traditions interpret them on their own way. You are right...and you are not. Because none of us is sinless. And none of us can judge how high or low is the moral of the others. Wellcome in MyLot:-)
