 You'd be amazed at the ridiculous (and false) excuses I have heard from employees. I even had one call in once that said her dog got hit by a UPS truck and she was so distraught she couldn't work. I tell anyone I hire that I appreciate that everyone has those days when they just want to knock off, and if that's the csae they should just call and tell me so instead of making up some crazy excuse... |

 I live in Illinois and my husband works with a guy who lives on a farm and invested a few thousand dollars into system that generates electricity through water.  I worked for a guy once who had an open marriage. They had a 4 year old daughter and to me the whole thing just seemed wrong. THere was even a time once where they both ended up in the same restaurant after bar time, at different tables with their "partners" for the evening, and it didn't seem to phase them. Needless to say the marriage ended in divorce 5 years after they said "I do."
