Worst fear

United States

My husband left for a trip today. I've been filled with dread about today. My worst fear is that he won't make it home. I always think this in the back of my mind when he does on a trip, but I just can't seem to shake it this time. Is anyone out there like this? I've been praying all morning that he makes it home safe and sound. I am hoping this funny feeling is just me and nothing bad happens today.

You poor dear! I know exactly what you are feeling, as I too used to feel this when my husband would go away for work. I will be praying for you and he too! Everything will be just fine!

My husband sometimes gets feelings like that about his family in Cuba. 9 times out of 10, he is wrong and all is just fine. I can't say every time, as once in particular, his grandmother had passed. Don't worry my dear friend. He will be fine, I will keep him in my prayers as well. You are concerned because he is your husband, and out of your sight and reach. It is normal to worry. We all worry about the people we care about. He'll be home before you know it !! Keep your chin up my friend. ((((hugs Rhonda Roo))))

I used to be the type that always questioned 'what if?' and worried. But, worrying doesn't get you anything but headaches and stress. If I was still that way, I would be worried everyday, my guy has a very stressful and at times dangerous job, okay, who am I kidding, his chosen profession is dangerous, but I can't look at that way. All I can do is make sure he knows how much I love him and be thankful at the end of the day when we are together again. And by doing that I will not have any shoulda, woulda, coulda's if (God forbid) anything ever happen.
