I just placed my order for flowers for my Mother-in-law for Mother's Day this Sunday - May 13. They will arrive this Friday. Since we live in AZ and she lives in FL, we can't just drop by and at her age, she constantly says she doesn't need more "stuff". So, last year I found a wonderful company that delivers flowers direct to her door at a reasonable price AND guarantees they will last at least 7 days. A vase is included free and you can upgrade the style of vase or add candy, if you want. We have sent her flowers this way at least three times and she has always been impressed and we don't have to pay the ridiculously high prices charged by florists. The flowers are shipped by the actual growers by FedEx so they can't get any fresher or faster than that. This year we sent her the "Mom's Delight" 10 pink tulips and 10 blue irises in a vase for just $29.99 plus shipping. For the same price, they also have TWO dozen red roses or 100 blooms of peruvian lillies (both of which we have sent in the past); plus several more selections. They have plenty of flowers, candy and gourmet baskets, spa baskets, etc. So if you haven't gotten something for Mom yet, go to http://www.proflowers.com/landing2.aspx?pageid=Catalog1&REF=FGVCatalog1 and maybe you will get some ideas. I do not know if they ship outside of the US or not. Now, that you know what we got for Mother's Day for our Mom; what are you getting for your mother this year?
